About Me

Dr. Dinesh Talwar, who is an alumni of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, completed his postgraduation from the same Institution in 1988 and then joined the Retina Unit of Dr. R.P. Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, New Delhi, initially as a Senior Resident and then worked as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology (1992 to 1998 ), Associate Professor of Ophthalmology (1998 to 2002) and from 2002 onwards as Additional Professor of Ophthalmology, in the Vitreo Retina Unit till he resigned in 2003, to join Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals and Centre for Sight, New Delhi as Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist and Vitreo retinal Surgeon. He also has his own clinic - RMG Netralaya in Hauz Khas Enclave.

Dr. Dinesh Talwar has extensive independent experience in medical and surgical management of vitreoretinal disorders including complicated retinal detachments with severe proliferative vitreoretinopathy, vitreous hemorrhage due to Diabetes mellitus and other retinal disorders with associated traction or combined traction-rhegmatogenous detachments and traumatic retinal detachment, of over Three decades.
